New SIP Members


Sterling are a versatile Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO), with their UK Headquarters based in Cramlington, Northumberland. “Our 400+ strong team across our facilities in the UK and the US are capable of handling even the most hazardous chemical processes safely.” With over 50 years’ experience, their team combine knowledge and customer service to ensure high quality project delivery. Sterling join the SIP as a full member.


Seqirus is one of the largest influenza vaccine companies in the world, with manufacturing facilities on three different continents, who focus on cutting-edge research, transformative technologies and the latest methods of production and distribution. Seqirus are joining one of our local skills forums, SIP Liverpool Plus. The Seqirus Liverpool site is a center of excellence for the manufacture of enhanced influenza vaccines and plays an important role in providing pandemic preparedness and response for the UK and other European countries.


Roche is a global pioneer in pharmaceuticals and diagnostics, who aim to detect illnesses – such as cancer, infectious and cardiovascular disease – early, and to treat them with life-saving and life-changing medicines. In 2017, Roche invested 388m pounds in UK R&D and conducted 181 clinical trials. The UK plays an important role in the global research and development (R&D) network for Roche. This includes research at their campus in Welwyn Garden City, as well as clinical trials carried out by external research organisations and collaborations with academic institutions and other partners. Roche join the SIP as a full member.
