New measures announced to help boost the nation’s skills

New measures will support ongoing work to transform technical education including up to £120 million to establish 8 more Institutes of Technology.

Gavin Williamson, Education Secretary, announced a series of measures to support and make sure the country can continue to build the skilled workforce it needs for the future and improve productivity. 

The government also recently announced, a focus on the improvements of sixth forms and colleges with an additional £400 million for 2020-2021. The new measures will include ongoing work to transform technical education, including the introduction of T-Levels. Register for our Webinar on this topic here.
