The Science Industry Partnership has announced a new SIP Careers Taskforce – which will oversee the delivery of careers outreach activity designed to attract young people into the science industries.
Taskforce members are all early career professionals with an apprenticeship or graduate entry route into the science industries and will work collaboratively to support and implement a sustainable employer led careers outreach strategy that inspires the next generation of scientific talent.
Meeting regularly the taskforce will analyse and discuss new ideas for careers outreach activity. With early careers professionals involved, there are hopes of a fresh and innovative outlook of the SIP Ambassadors programme and its outreach activity, which will come in to action as the Taskforce begin to meet.
