A Cambridge student-led initiative, Africans in STEM is a platform for Africans across STEM disciplines based in the UK and beyond to connect, share ideas and collaborate.
To celebrate Black History Month 2020, Africans in STEM are conducting a fantastic mini-exhibition of notable Black scientists from all around the world, featuring historic and current scientists.
The second project is a virtual panel discussion jointly organized with the Department of Pharmacology at Cambridge University. The event is titled, 'Spotlight on Black Female Scientists in Cambridge' and will feature scientists who will speak about the research that they do and how they navigate academia and Cambridge. The panel is scheduled for Wednesday 21 October at 5:30 pm. Registration will be available soon.
